You're interested

in nicer clothes,

but how do you

pull them off?

We've been there.

We used to wear Uniqlo too. The clothes did the job, but felt a bit boring. And it left us wanting something nicer – clothes with a vibe.

But how do you go about it?

The first step:

choose a style

that feels right for you.

In context of dressing well in Southeast Asia,

there are two main vibes:

1.

An aggressive street look.

Think loud graphic tees, massively oversized shirts and pants. A look that stands out, challenges, and seeks be the center of attention.

2.

A more composed, put-together effortless style.

Think someone whose clothes are practical and comfortable, but still leave them looking effortlessly presentable.

If you prefer something aggressive, we may not be the right fit. But we may be able to help when it comes to a more composed look.

To look composed

is to be sure of yourself;

to know what cut, fabric, and colour

work for you.

1.

Look for cuts that are relaxed.

Tight cuts can look uncomfortable and uptight. A relaxed cut that sits well on the body plays an important role in giving off an effortless vibe.

2.

Focus on high-quality fabrics.

When there are no loud graphic prints, the choice of fabric becomes all the more important. You can't look effortlessly good in clothes that feel cheap. Avoid synthetics and polyester, look for natural fabrics.

3.

Choose muted colours.

Think white, black, brown, navy blue, deep green, khaki. Simple colours that look good and match together easily for effortless dressing.

Great style takes time.
Enjoy the journey.

Ultimately, discovering personal style is a journey. And the best way forward is to test and try.
