The Nehru Jacket, modeled on the Indian Achkan suit, was named after him. It was a hip-length tailored coat with mandarin collar.

The garment has been reimagined by hiraware as a contemporary shirt, allowing us to explore themes of uniform, duty, and the weight of history.

The hiraware nehru shirt maintains key details and the overall silhouette of the suit, while pursuing a lighter fabric for ease of everyday wear.
