HIRAWARE worked with TWO MEN BAGEL HOUSE, a bagel shop with outlets in Singapore and Bangkok, on workwear trousers for their staff.

The trousers needed to be durable, worn almost daily by workers.

They needed to be breathable, capable of handling the kitchen heat.

They needed to be comfortable, as workers moved and squatted picking up ingredients from low fridges.

we opted for a classic workwear fabric.

BREATHABLE, DURABLE.

A classic workwear fabric. It features a breathable cotton woven in a tight 1x1 structure.

This crisscross structure provide no gaps for objects to snag on, providing massive abrasion and puncture resistance.

The waistband was slightly elasticised to be able to expand up to 1-inch, for extra mobility.

An additional side pocket was added on the left for small utensils.

W also worked with colours that would age well. The idea being to have the trousers age nicely and develop a patina as it got exposed to food stains, burns, and bleach.
